After finalizing the marriage between NetEase and Quantic Dream, the top management of the Chinese videogame giant are looking in the direction of Rebel Wolves to contribute to the development of the Triple A RPG being worked on at the new software house founded in early 2022 by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, former Game Director of The Witcher 3.
Tomaszkiewicz himself gave the news who, in his new role as CEO and Game Director of Rebel Wolves, regains social media for “welcome NetEase Games as our new shareholder and partner. Having the support of one of the leading companies in the digital entertainment industry is a great boost and motivation. NetEase’s investment was the missing piece to make our vision a reality. With the resources at our disposal we can create a world-class triple-A gameso we can finally focus only on what matters most: development”.
The synergy with NetEase, according to the former CD Projekt, will give his new team all the confidence, economic tranquility and creative freedom necessary to shape this mysterious triple A RPG on Unreal Engine 5 which, according to available information, will take on the contours of a single-player adventure set in a fantasy dimension in dark colors.
