Report: Bayern talent Sieb before Fürth change

Two years ago, FC Bayern celebrated for signing Armindo Sieb. as “great German offensive talent” youth leader Jochen Sauer described the 17-year-old at the time of his change of club. On the TSG Hoffenheim side, who had lost Sieb to Munich, the mood was different. FC Bayern was publicly criticized for its intensive poaching attempts and the fact that Sieb was invited to a medical check-up without prior consultation.

The 19-year-old will probably have a medical check again soon – at Greuther Fürth. According to ‘nordbayern.de’, the online presence of ‘Nürnberger Nachrichten’ and the ‘Nürnberger Zeitung’, the Bundesliga relegated team is about to sign Sieb. Fürth is working intensively on the offensive player, whose club change could be made official this Friday.

The people of Munich are apparently willing to let their former top talent go permanently. According to the report, confidence that Sieb can play for Bayern at Bundesliga level in the future has shrunk in the record champions. A loan with a purchase option is now the most likely transfer model. Since Sieb would have to extend his contract, which runs until 2023, a direct transfer of the offensive player is also possible.

Raebiger already there

The U19 international would be the second talent to switch from the Bundesliga to Franconia this week. On Monday, Fürth secured the services of Sidney Raebiger (17), who left RB Leipzig and signed a three-year contract with the game association.

In his two years in Munich, Sieb mainly played in the second team. In the past season, the 19-year-old scored ten goals in 33 regional league games and prepared four more.
