We have already made it perfectly established that Samsung not the best of companies when it comes to looking after and preventing leaks.
For example now, we are just a few days away from its next Galaxy Unpacked conference and it has been possible to know very important details about the new Galaxy Watch 5 and other products that will be officially revealed there.
Under such a scenario, the other stellar presentation of the conference, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, has also been the subject of multiple leaks and reports on its technical specifications and changes.
In fact, the conference to a greater or lesser extent will be a round of confirmations and discards of all the information that has already been circulating for months.
But now, in one of the most important leak reports, something completely unexpected has just happened, with the release of important and disturbing data about its performance.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 would be much more powerful than expected
One of the points that has raised the most concern about the new folding smartphone from the South Korean manufacturer would be the fact that it would now have the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor.
It is the spiritual relay of its predecessor, with some technical improvements in its hardware, but its real-life performance still needs to be known when running on new smartphone models.
And just on that subject the Twitter account of the media informant @AhmedQwaider888 has published the first details about the real performance of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4:
The new flexible screen smartphone would have a 15% faster CPU than the previous model, the GPU would be 59% faster and the NPU processes would be 68% better compared to the model with the previous SoC.
These report figures are considerable and would leave the Galaxy Z Fold 3 far behind the model that would be presented in less than a week.
The tipster in his posts also addresses other features of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, not just the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1.
For example, it claims that the foldable phone will feature a 4,400mAh battery with a 25W charging range.
That would be enough for the phone to reach a 50% charge in half an hour. Although the battery power may be considered as low for some.
There is also talk that the screen would have a refresh rate of 120 Hz with a brightness of 1000 nits and Victus + protection on the front and back.
But all that would be confirmed later in the Galaxy Unpacked.
