Samsung launches store with discounts and facilities within the Itaú application

To facilitate access to its products, Samsung launches this Monday (22) the Samsung store at Itaú, within the bank’s app. In the space, you can find from smartphones and notebooks to refrigerators and air conditioning. At the store, you can pay up to 21 interest-free installments and find discounts and free shipping.

With the novelty, Samsung increases its capillarity by having a distribution channel for almost 40 million potential customers who already have an Itaú credit card. “People also want free time and the solution we created has this proposal. The rationale is: to provide an excellent experience for the purchase of objects of desire in a few clicks, with comfort and safety”, says Michele Vita, superintendent of Itaú Unibanco.

The smartphone category should be the highlight, followed by notebooks and TVs. “The number of cell phones in Brazil has been higher than the total number of Brazilians for years. The social distance and the expansion of games made these items even more valued”, highlights Michele. “I venture to say that the most sophisticated models should be preferred by customers.”

For Eduardo Santos, director of services and innovations for the area of mobile devices at Samsung Brasil, this is a great opportunity to expand Samsung’s sales channels. “This partnership with Itaú confirms Samsung’s commitment to always offering the best to customers, in addition to reiterating our commitment to constant innovation”, he says.

The project listened to customers, who helped to define what would be most relevant in the purchase journey and product pricing. “We want to expand access to these items. Therefore, we structured the store so that, in the longer installments [21 vezes sem juros], the customer pays an extremely competitive price compared to the market”, says Michele.

To buy, the customer only needs to choose the product: there is no need to enter the card data, as they are already in the bank’s systems. Payment of installments is made on the monthly bills of the chosen card and the delivery of the purchased item takes place within a few days.
