A 23-year-old man was arrested by agents of the Rural Crimes Division on Sunday night in Paraje Tirica in the town of San Vicente after evading a vehicle control with his motorcycle. In addition, during the search of his belongings, the uniformed officers found two shotguns and several cartridges in his possession, intended for poaching. The arrest took place through a security device carried out on provincial route 9 in which members of the Misiones Police and the Ministry of Ecology participated.

In this context, they tried to stop the movement of a motorcycle without lights on board a young man.

Sources consulted indicated that the motorcyclist made evasive maneuvers to the control and fled along a covered road in the aforementioned area.

Immediately, a patrol began a chase and entered a yerba mate plantation where the unknown person abandoned the vehicle and a burlap bag.

Likewise, the agents detained the driver and seized the motorcycle, upon verifying the bag in question, they established that two shotgun-type firearms were found inside, along with several projectiles, which are estimated to be destined for illegal hunting.

Finally, the detainee was transferred to a police station where he will remain housed at the disposal of the Justice, as well as the kidnapped elements.
