Paris St. Germain continues to reshape their midfield. After signing Vitinha (22) from FC Porto, Renato Sanches is the next new signing for the head office. As the Parisians announce, the 24-year-old has signed a contract with OSC Lille until 2027. The fee for the right foot is reported to be 15 million euros.
Three years after leaving FC Bayern Munich, Sanches is back under contract with a top international club. In 2019, the Portuguese moved to Lille for 20 million euros. The leading players at the time for the northern French: head coach Christophe Galtier and sporting director Luís Campos – both are now working in almost the same function at PSG.
Sanches celebrated winning the French championship with Lille in the 2020/21 season. The ex-Bayer was mostly set for the Doggen and played 90 competitive games in three years. The 2016 Golden Boy winner contributed a total of 16 goals.
