From now on, São Paulo FC will be coached by Rogério Ceni. As the club announced, the former goalkeeper will take over from Hernán Crespo (46). According to the Brazilian first division club, the separation from the Argentine was amicable. Crespo took over São Paulo in February and coached the team in 57 competitive games.
This is Ceni’s second term with São Paulo. In 2017, the 48-year-old was responsible for 13 games. As a player, he was part of the squad for 25 years and earned his status as a club legend. Despite his position as a goalkeeper, the 16-time national player scored numerous goals in his career.
