The school calendar of Secretariat of Public Education (SEP) establishes that classes will begin on August 29, 2022 and will last for 190 daysnamely, five days less than the school year that is about to end. The dependency revealed in past weeks the calendar that will be in force for the next course, in which, in addition to non-working days and vacations, bridges for sessions of the School Technical Council (CTE) are contemplated.
The 2021-2022 school year contemplates 195 days of classes, that is, it must end on July 28, 2022, however in some entities it was agreed to increase changes to the schedule in order to end earlier than marked by the federal agency.
How many days will the 2022-2023 SEP school year have?
The Ministry of Public Education established two calendars; one of 190 effective days of class for Basic Education (preschool, primary, secondary), and another of 195 for Normal Education and teacher training.
In the case of Basic Education, the next school year will last for 190 days; will start the next Monday, August 29 and will end on July 26, 2023. Two vacation periods are contemplated: the first, from December 19 to 30, 2022and the second, from April 3 to 14, 2023. In addition there will be suspension of classes on the days:
- 16 of September
- November 2
- November 21
- February 6, 2023
- March 20, 2023
- May 1, 2023
- May 5, 2023
- May 15, 2023.
In addition, 35 days of intensive training are planned during the next school year, which will take place in 13 sessions of School Technical Council and in three periods: from January 2 to 6; from June 5 to 9, and July 27 and 28, 2023.
