Lack of drinking water persists
The lack of drinking water is on the list of recurring problems from which the inhabitants of Algiers suffer. The cuts this year also affected many municipalities and several neighborhoods. Unrepaired leaks and construction work are often the cause of these cuts.
A meeting took place recently between the heads of the SEAAL sectors and the representatives of the neighborhood committees of the municipalities of eastern Algiers. The observation is common: the cuts considerably obstruct the daily life of the inhabitants. The latter have been made aware in order to avoid waste and protect the resource, the improvement of the public water service remains essential.
As a reminder, SEAAL provides its customers with the number of its telephone call center on 15.94, which is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for all information.
