September 11, 20 years later: and never again we took the plane “as before”

Lhe aviation is very unfortunately intrinsically linked to the attacks of September 11, 2001. The images of the two Boeings successively hitting the two towers of the World Trade Center in New York have remained imprinted forever in the minds of all those who saw them, often just a few minutes after the fact.

Then came the images of the attack on the Pentagon, in Washington, also being the result of the hijacking of a plane by terrorists who had appeared in the cockpit to take the controls. Before the sequence ends with these images, again, the charred debris of a crashed plane in the Pennsylvania countryside, diverted from its target by a revolt of certain passengers then informed of the disastrous fate that awaited them.
