Shall we dance judge called “net troll” after incitement

During the all stars season of Skal vi danse, one of the judges has received many negative comments directed at him, both on social media and in various comment fields.

This applies to Morten Hegseth (36), who has been considered an audience judge since season 17 in 2021.

In the final program of this year’s Skal vi danse, there was one detail in particular that caused a hail of comments against the presenter; a glittering crown on his head.

A showdown with the haters

Against the background of many rude comments thrown at him, Hegseth therefore chose to do something about the problem.

During a recording of the podcast “Harm & Hegseth”, Hegseth says that he has found telephone numbers for several of the “online roles”. In the podcast, he therefore called one of them.

– You drive and write, among other things in “Se & Hør”‘s comment fields, that you are spitting on me. So I was wondering why you do it?

– I think you chatter so much. Unnecessary, is the answer Hegseth gets from the anonymous woman.

But then Hegseth asks what the person thinks, that people get upset when others leave such comments. Then he gets this answer:

– Really, I shouldn’t have done it, says the person and apologizes shortly afterwards.

Lay flat on behalf of the mother

Hegseth says that he has called and contacted several of those who write ugly messages online.

– It’s a new tactic I have, says Hegseth to TV 2.

A couple of weeks ago he received another rude message from an elderly lady. He says that he most often receives such messages from young children, and then he sends photo evidence of the messages to their parents.

In this case, he therefore solved it in a different way:

– I took a screenshot of what she had written and sent it to her daughters.

– The daughters called and laid low on behalf of their mother.

That’s why he calls

The VGTV profile says that things have calmed down after the Skal vi danse: all stars finale, but that he is not afraid to call those who continue to write ugly messages to him.

– I’m a bit curious as to where the threshold lies for writing ugly things against the background of eye make-up, nail polish and makeup, says Hegseth, and continues:

– I’m actually calling more out of curiosity than vindictiveness.
