Sigrid Bonde Tusvik: – I will gladly come and command

There has been a storm around Atle Antonsen (53) in the last week, and on Saturday it was known that he is withdrawing from the new season of “The King Commands”.

When the news came, speculation immediately began about who would take over the throne, and in comments on Twitter, Jodel and Facebook, among others, the Norwegian people wanted a female profile in the presenter’s chair.

Among the most mentioned profiles for the new season, which the fans refer to as “The Queen Commands”, are Sigrid Bonde Tusvik, Anne-Kat. Hærland and Linn Skåber.

– Nice that many people suggest me

Sigrid Bonde Tusvik is another name that circulates in the comment fields. Tusvik is known to many from his work as a stand-up comedian, humorist and presenter, as well as for his political involvement.

In a comment to God Kveld Norge, the comedian says that she would like to imagine a place in the royal throne if she got the offer.

– It’s so nice that many people suggest me, I’m happy to come and order, says Tusvik to God Kveld Norge and adds:

– For once, I agree with the comment fields, she says.

The 42-year-old comedian has been on stage since 2003 and in 2012 became part of the permanent cast in the comedy program “Thursday evening from Nydalen”.

Since 2011, she has also hosted the popular podcast “Tusvik og Tønne” together with her friend and fellow comedian Lisa Tønne.

The humorist has previously been a presenter in, among other things, the VGTV game show SMS roulette in 2010 and the NRK program “Sigrid Søker Kjæreste” in the same year. This spring she fulfilled her dream of creating an inclusive music group for women in the TV 2 program “Korps United”.

Haven’t heard the rumours

As one of the biggest names in the Norwegian TV industry, it is perhaps no surprise that the public’s eyes fall on presenter and comedian Anne-Kat. Army land.

In addition to her best-known role as a panelist in the popular comedy program “New again”, Hærland has had a long and solid career as a presenter.

To Good evening Norway, Hærland says that she has not heard anything about these “speculations” on social media, and therefore refrains from commenting.

Hærland first made his debut as presenter in the NRK2 program “Direct happiness” in 1996 and has since hosted several programmes, such as “Bombay Surprise” and “Bla, blah, blah” for NRK, the talk show “Anne-Kat” for TVNorge and “Hekta på Trump” for TV 2 in 2020.

During her long career, Hærland has been honored with a number of awards, including the Komi prize for her work in stand-up in 2003, 2006 and 2009. Earlier this year, she received the Gullruten honorary award for her work in the TV industry.

– Has his heart elsewhere

Actor and comedian Linn Skåber is also among the top candidates in the people’s proposal for a new “The King Commands” presenter.

Skåber made her big debut on stage at Oslo Nye Teater in 1997 in the titular role of Mirandolina. Since then, she has taken part in a large variety of stage productions, TV programmes, revues and feature films.

When asked about her thoughts on the people’s desire to see her as a presenter in “The King Commands”, Skåber expresses that she has other things she wants to focus on.

– I haven’t seen it in the comments section, haven’t been asked and therefore haven’t considered it. I’m on tour with Ine Jansen and “While we’re waiting for no’ good”, so that’s where my head and heart are at the moment, says Skåber to God kveld Norge.

In 2006, Skåber won the Comedy Award for his role in the play “The Foreigner” at Centralteateret, and, like Tusvik, has been a regular panelist in “New again”.

Skåber is currently starring in the play “While we wait for Godot”, her self-written version of Samuel Beckett’s classic, “While we wait for Godot”.

In search

To Good evening Norway, Discovery’s director of communications, Hanne McBride, confirms that they are now in a process where they are looking for a new presenter for “The King Commands”.

The question of whether they are considering changing the concept of “The Queen Commands”, Discovery does not want to answer.

– I have no answer for you on this now other than that we have just started the job of finding a new presenter for next season, McBride writes in an e-mail to God Kveld Norge.
