A few first render images and information about the new Sony smartphone, the Sony 1 IV, leaked back in February. Tomorrow is supposed to be the time when Sony will officially present its new devices. And because one or the other fan of Sony smartphones probably can’t wait, the now well-known Twitter user SnooyTech has just published a tweet that shows more pictures and specs of the Sony 1 IV. Probably the most important detail will be the advertised price: 1,399 euros are announced here.

Otherwise, the 6.5-inch OLED display, which has a resolution of 4K and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, seems confirmed. As expected, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 from Qualcomm works inside as the SoC and full stereo speakers are installed. There is also more information about the camera. It is said about the sensors that Sony divides the setup into: 16 mm ultra wide-angle camera, 24 mm wide-angle camera and an 85 – 125 mm telephoto camera with optical zoom. The image recording is supported by a real-time autofocus, video recordings can be recorded with a maximum of 120 frames per second at 4K. Judging by the published images, Sony again compares the cameras of the Sony 1 IV with professional cameras. In the end, of course, everyone has to make their own judgement. In my opinion, Sony doesn’t bend over backwards in terms of looks either, but I’ve been told that many fans of the devices particularly like that.
