Star Trek Discovery: Season 4 in Germany for free on PlutoTV

There is good news for all Star Trek: Discovery fans. After Netflix no longer offers the series, the new episodes are now available on Pluto TV. The streaming provider has secured the rights and is showing the new episodes in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

So far, Star Trek: Discovery has only been found on Netflix in Germany, but that will change with the fourth season starting this Friday. Because the streaming portal is losing the series, it is going to Paramount +. However, Paramount + is not yet available in Germany and so it was initially said that Star Trek fans would have to wait until 2022 to watch the new Discovery episodes. But now there is good news from Pluto TV.

Opinion from ViacomCBS

“To all Star Trek: Discovery international fans, we heard you guys. We love this show too. We love it for the incredible cast, hard working crew, imaginative stories, groundbreaking, diverse characters that bring the show to life and for what it represents to so many people around the world. Star Trek has always put its fans first. We want to do the same.

That’s why we’re doing everything we can in this transition phase to present the new season to you as quickly as possible.

In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Pluto TV, the leading free streaming service, will show the new episodes every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 9 p.m. local time on the Pluto TV Sci-Fi and Pluto TV Star Trek channels. The first two episodes will start this Friday, November 26th. “More on that
