Offspring at Hilton!
Paris Hilton (41) and her husband Carter Reum (41) have become parents. The couple had long wanted to start a family. Now a surrogate mother has fulfilled the wish.
“It’s always been my dream to be a mother and I’m so happy that Carter and I found each other,” she told People magazine. Hilton also revealed the child’s gender: “We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our little boy.”
On Tuesday evening (local time), the new mom posted a photo on Instagram showing the little one’s hand clutching her thumb. “You are already loved beyond measure,” Hilton wrote.
The ex-party girl has previously spoken openly about her desire to have children with her husband Carter. “We’re in the process of doing IVF,” Hilton said on The Trend Reporter with Mara podcast in January 2021. In in-vitro fertilization, egg cells are removed from the woman and artificially fertilized with sperm in a test tube. A few years ago she had already had egg cells frozen. Now, thanks to a surrogate mother, it finally worked.

The It Girl and Carter Reum have been a couple since December 2019. On Hilton’s birthday on February 17, Reum proposed on a private island: “While we were strolling along the beach for dinner, he led me to a flower-decorated cottage and got on one knee in front of me. I said yes forever,” Hilton wrote on Instagram that same day.
In the January 2021 podcast, Paris said of her sweetheart: “He’s just my dream man. (…) We’ve been talking about our wedding and what we’re going to name our baby all the time.”
The couple has not yet revealed the name of their son.
