This is how Cameroon arrived in Qatar 2022

For their part, the ‘Indomitable Lions’ had to fight harder to reach the most important tournament in global football. In the qualifiers they were in group D together with Ivory Coast, Mozambique and Malawi. There they managed to overcome the initial phase after winning 5 of their 6 games and closing with 15 points.

Then, in the decisive match to get the ticket to the tournament, they had to face off against Algeria. In the first leg, they fell by the slightest difference and at the end of the series, as a visitor they managed to equalize the aggregate 2-2 and qualified via the away goal.

This is how Switzerland arrived at the Qatar 2022 World Cup

The path of the Swiss team to reach Qatar was quite simple, they shared group C of the UEFA Qualifying with Italy, Northern Ireland, Bulgaria and Lithuania. Of their eight games, they won five, drew 3 and did not lose a single one.

The Italian team was their strongest rival, but they managed to prevail in a surprising way to keep the direct position to the orbital appointment, forcing those from the country of the boot to have to play the repechage phase, where they failed to qualify.
