More than 100 prisoners are said to have escaped from a prison in Hassaké, Syria. Kurdish forces (SDF) reportedly took 89 prisoners, but fighting continues in the city.

TKings one thousand five hundred jihadists are gathered in this Syrian prison, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. And this Thursday, it was stormed by fighters from the Islamic State organization. Since then, clouds of smoke have risen in the sky over the city of Hassaké, in an area controlled by Kurdish forces. Fighting is taking place between the jihadists and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), which is supported by the international coalition led by the United States.
