System Shock will soon be adapted as a television series, available for free on Binge.
Formerly maligned, film adaptations of cult video games seem to be making a place for themselves on our screens. After the success of Sonic, Mario coming to the cinema soon. Without forgetting the reboot of Resident Evil with a first trailer and the series The Last of Us for HBO. And how not to evoke Fallout, TV adaptation for Amazon Prime Video? Lots of examples while Netflix cardboard with Castlevania. And today we learn that System Shock, horror sci-fi monument, will arrive on the Binge streaming platform. A live-action series scheduled for 2022 and accessible for free!
An adaptation led by Nightdive
System Shock arrives for free in 2022, no specific date, on Binge. Allan Ungar, the originator of the short film Uncharted with Nathan Fillion, takes care of the production here. Stephen Kick and Larry Kyperman, CEO / Founder and Director of Business Development at Nightdive, the company behind the franchise, respectively, announce themselves as executive producers.

A monument of the horrific sci-fi game
Released in 1994, System Shock is a cult FPS with several suites. It was not originally developed by Nightdive, here publisher. Looking Glass Technologies took care of it, as did Looking Glass Studios and OtherSide Entertainment.
A remake of the first System Shock is currently in preparation, developed by Nightdive following funding on Kickstarter. To make sure the game is authentic, former Looking Glass developers are working on this massive facelift.
