Jay Leno’s passion for cars was his undoing, as he did a few days after the accident told. On November 13, he works in his private garage on the fuel line of a 115-year-old car. But suddenly the line bursts, fuel splashes on his hands and face. A spark instantly sets Leno on fire. Luckily, a friend can quickly delete it. Of the talk show-Altmeister comes to a clinic with third-degree burns.

In the special clinic, doctors remove burnt skin tissue, and Leno is placed in a pressure chamber to reduce the swelling and oxygenate his blood. The talk show master never loses his good humor and makes rapid progress. “He is looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with his family and friends and wishes everyone a happy holiday,” the doctors wrote after Leno’s discharge.
