CDMX.- The new trend in cosmetics is the development of devices such as devices that wash the face, electronic toothbrushes and neck and face massagers that emit an electric microcurrent.
These types of devices have been marketed by the Swedish company Foreo in the Mexican market since 2018.
Mario Gómez, global director of Foreo in Mexico, commented that in November 2019 they had their best month in sales when they reached one million dollars, but in 2020, with the arrival of the Covid-19 pandemic, their sales were greatly affected. .
This year, the company plans to spend $10 million on marketing to reposition the brand and make Mexico one of the top 10 best-selling countries for the company worldwide.
“During 2021 and 2022, things were changing. Electronic commerce, thanks to Mercado Libre and Amazon, and our own Foreo for you application, allowed us to have a better performance than in physical stores”, commented Gómez.
