The 3rd ORIGIN Innovation Awards, focusing on sustainable innovation and lasting impact

June 13, 2022 – TechNode Global announces the third edition of the ORIGIN Innovation Awards under the theme “Sustainable Innovation and Lasting Impact”. This year’s awards will focus on how innovation has an impact on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

As the world recovers from the pandemic, many leaders and businesses finally have time to reflect on our past and look to the future. Innovative technologies have been used to address issues related to accessibility, social mobility and creating a healthier environment for future generations.

The first two editions of the ORIGIN Innovation Awards, held in 2020 and 2021, honor innovation and entrepreneurship across Asia, with a panel of expert judges and public voting to select the top innovators in leading industries. This year, the awards will focus on innovators who have made an impact on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Stanley Chong, Director of TechNode Global, said: “Urgent social issues and environmental concerns are driving entrepreneurs and innovators to a greater awareness of the role they play in the world.”

“We firmly believe that this generation holds the keys to a better future, and TechNode Global aims to continue to provide a platform for entrepreneurs, start-ups, innovators, visionaries and academics to advance sustainability, well-being and impactful Economic growth,” added Director Chong.

This year’s theme is “Sustainable Innovation and Lasting Impact” and TechNode Global aims to showcase to the world these companies and people who are striving to integrate sustainable and ethical practices into their businesses and prioritise humanity’s future.
