The French Spiderman climbed a skyscraper to celebrate his 60th birthday

Alan Robertknown by his nickname “the French Spiderman”, celebrated his 60th birthday by climbing a skyscraper of more than 40 floors in an hour and without any kind of safety tool. This is the fourth time in his life that he has climbed the TotalEnergies building, located in the La Defense business district in Paris.

“I want to send people the message that being 60 years old means nothing. That you can continue playing sports, staying active and doing wonderful things”, he commented. Alan Robert to Reuters. Throughout his life, the French climbed constructions from all over the globe, such as the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, or the Eiffel Tower. He also stated that this is very important to him since “60 years symbolizes the retirement age in France”, something that seemed to him “a nice detail”.
