Even with Gamasutra’s reputation and editorial vision, the name has always been unpleasant and off-putting to people outside or around the gaming industry. He was usually greeted (and greeted), asking again and rolling his eyes. I don’t blame people who react this way, because even though I am proud to work for Gamasutra, I feel the same way. Like people who have been working on the site for a long time.
Chris Graft, former editor-in-chief of the former Gamasutra
Having got rid of a long time no longer funny, but in the light of sexual scandals in gaming companies, and also an unwanted association with the Kamasutra, the team will change its own website. It will become modern, functional and stylish, with clear navigation.
All important materials will be transferred to the new site, but all old links will continue to work. And new opportunities will allow the team to come up with new solutions. Moreover, the editorial staff is changing: Chris Graft will act as the publisher, and Alyssa Macaloun will take the place of the editor-in-chief.
