The CAF (Development Bank of Latin America) will hold a meeting in New York between more than 50 leaders of the region, with the aim of analyzing the challenges presented by various problems that hit Latin America.
This meeting, which will last two days, is being held within the framework of the 77th General Assembly of the United Nations. It will start from tomorrow and has the war between Ukraine and Russia as the main axis to work on.

However, the president is not the only speaker of this eventsince the CAF confirmed the presence of several important figures, such as Nobel Peace Prize laureates Rigoberta Menchú, Adolfo Pérez Esquivel and Juan Manuel Santos, among other political and business figures.
As for the UN assembly, it is a special situation, because there are several weighty issues that must be dealt with, such as the first global increase in extreme poverty in the last two decades, the product of a complex exit from the coronavirussetbacks in democratic systems and climate change, which is getting closer to the point of no return.
