Comedian and actor Chris D’Elia (42) got married this weekend to his girlfriend Kristin Taylor (30). The stand-up comedian’s wife shared the news on Sunday with an Instagram post from the ceremony. In the caption, she wrote: «6.18.22. D’Elia’s forever »
D’Elia herself also posted a post from the wedding. In the post, we see pictures of the newlyweds posing with their common son.
Low profile after accusations
The 42-year-old actor has kept a low profile since the summer of 2020.
That is when several women came forward and accused him of sexual harassment. Several of these are said to have been minors.
Among other things, he was fired from the Netflix movie “Army of the dead” because of this. The accusations came on social media, where it was claimed that the comedian deliberately flirted with underage girls.
In an interview with TMZ in 2020, the comedian said that:
– I know that I have said and done things that may have offended people during my career, but I have never deliberately persecuted any minors at any time.
Been in therapy
In February last year, D’Elia published a video on youtube where he explained more about his side of the case. He says in the video that: “I stand by that all my relationships have been legal and with consent.”
Further in the video, he still says that he has gone into therapy for what he describes as an “unhealthy” relationship with sex.
– What I have learned is that it has always been about sex for me. My life was sex, it controlled my life, he says in the video, among other things.
