There is still a full purchase premium for these cars

Big cuts in the coveted purchase bonus for new cars: If you want to collect the full environmental bonus, you now have to choose the right model.

At the turn of the year, the purchase premium for e-cars will drop significantly. For many models there is then not a cent more. If you still want to get the maximum, you should be quick – and choose the right model. Because e-cars are in demand, the waiting times are long.

It is important that you register the new car on time – before the end of the year. But the new car must be yours in good time. And that clearly limits the choice. Here are the models with the best prospects.

The state environmental bonus: what is changing
The purchase of e-cars up to 40,000 euros will be subsidized from 2023 with 4,500 euros instead of the previous 6,000 euros. For more expensive models up to 65,000 euros, there are 3,000 instead of 5,000 euros. Plug-in hybrids are being phased out. Money is only available for private buyers, no longer for craftsmen and businesses. Learn more about the changes here.
