Now a GitHub user named jhhoward has managed to take Wolfenstein 3D and essentially make it look even older. The modder says that he made it so that the game can run on machines equipped with Intel’s 8088 CPU.
This particular processor came on the market in 1979 and was instrumental in leading Intel to produce home computers, kick-starting a new era of home computing.
