Too much Brazil for Milinkovic-Savic, Lukic and Radonjic: the grenade ko with Serbia

Brazil beat Serbia 2-0 with a brace from Richarlison, the Torino goalkeeper blamed on both goals

Brazil-Serbia was the last match of the first day of the World Cup group stage in Qatar, the Selecao prevailed 2-0 thanks to a brace from Richarlison in the second half but above all convinced in terms of play. It is no coincidence that one of the best on the pitch in the Balkan national team was Vanja Milinkovic-Savic: guilty on both goals conceded but decisive in other circumstances with his saves. In addition to the goalkeeper, another player from Turin also played from 1′: Sasa Lukic. The midfielder remained on the field until the 66th minute but was not the author of a memorable performance: in the middle of the field he struggled against the Brazilian halfbacks and even received a yellow card. Nemanja Radonjic wasn’t particularly brilliant either who, after entering the field in the 57th minute, touched very few balls.
