Police said Trade Street was closed at the intersections of College Street, Brevard Street and Calwell Street around 8 p.m. The Transportation Center was evacuated out of an abundance of caution.

A few meters from the place is the Spectrum Center, where the Colombian singer Karol G was performing. Thousands of people who were outside the place had to be changed to other income, without an evacuation of the place being issued.

Around 8:45 pm, after the trash can was emptied and it was determined there was no threat, all roads were immediately opened.
