Violin class Rudens Turku presented four masterpieces from Mozart to Tchaikovsky

FELDKIRCH The violin class of Ruden’s Turku once again caused a sensation at the most recent concert at noon in the Montforthaus. In the packed foyer, the class presented four true masterpieces for the violin, ranging from Mozart to Tchaikovsky.

Born in 1996 Veronica Kahrerwho began playing the violin at the age of five, opened the concert with an Allegro from the Concerto for Violin and Piano in D major KV218 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, which radiated both elegance and youthful exuberance.

Passionate violin

Now followed the appearance of Raul Campos, who gave his two pieces a particularly passionate expression. The Légende op.17 for violin and piano by Henri Wieniawski, who was considered the greatest violinist of his time in the 19th century, was performed just as brilliantly as the refined Sonata No.1 in A minor, which is characterized by canonical themes in exchange with the piano op.105 by Robert Schumann.

The violinist from Australia Gemma Lee chose the Allegro Moderato – Moderato Assai from the Violin Concerto in D major op.35 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky for the culmination of the performance. The spirited piece is characterized by rapid melody arcs in interplay with moments of intimacy.

All three violinists showed what great talent lies dormant in the violin class at the Stella Vorarlberg Private University of Music. The varied playing delighted the ears of the numerous listeners who came to the concert at noon, including the rector of the Stella Vorarlberg private university for music dr Jorg Maria Ortwein such as Ingrid Matt and the medical officer dr Jutta Gnaiger Rathmanner counted.

Thanks to the cooperation between Montforthaus and the Stella Vorarlberg Private University of Music, a free noon concert takes place about once a month in the foyer of the Montforthaus, where students can demonstrate their musical talent.
