Warm and humid: Santa Pauli: Frivolous Christmas market on the Reeperbahn

Anyone looking for a traditional Christmas market on Hamburg’s Reeperbahn will probably be disappointed. In the run-up to Christmas, there are mainly frivolous things to do in the Kiez – both for the stomach and for the eyes.

Christmas market fun with frivolous ambiguities: The “Santa Pauli” Christmas market opened on Hamburg’s Reeperbahn on Monday evening. Until December 23, visitors can now celebrate a contemplative and at the same time sensual Advent season on Spielbudenplatz. “Santa Pauli” starts at 4 p.m. during the week and at 1 p.m. at the weekend. The market is only closed on Totensonntag.

“Santa Pauli” not only offers drinks and food with ambiguous names and suggestive shapes, but also music and entertainment. Various bands and artists perform in the evenings. Entry is free. You can stroll until 11 p.m. (dpa)
