Germany’s largest fishing fair will take place from November 12th to 14th, 2021 at the Berlin Exhibition Center. Fishing enthusiasts and those who want to become one can look forward to strong brands and the stars of the scene.

Fishing is booming! The trend ensures numerous new members in the clubs and reaches new target groups who are enthusiastic about outdoor sports. Regardless of whether you are an experienced angler or a newcomer: The ANGELWELT BERLIN, The leading trade fair and the most popular meeting place for sport and leisure anglers, leaves nothing to be desired. The range of topics that anglers can experience from November 12th to 14th in Hall 6.2 and 4.2 of the Berlin Exhibition Center includes bait & tackle, boats & navigation, casting & fly fishing, ProStaff & YouTubers, travel & areas and outdoor.

Popular manufacturer brands present seasonal trends and New Year’s goods at ANGWELT BERLIN, which are offered for sale at the same time by selected specialist dealers. In the interactive supporting program, visitors can also experience the stars of the scene up close and refresh their specialist knowledge with tips and tricks from fishing professionals. Around 150 exhibitors and partners present their products at ANGELWELT BERLIN, including popular manufacturer brands such as CMW Rutenbau, Hearty Rise, LMAB, Nays Baits, Quantum, Savage Gear, Sportex, Spro, Stroft and Westin.

Smaller bait makers and independent exhibitors find their place in the “bait mile”. They produce fishing lures “Made in Germany”, some of which are handmade and configured according to customer requirements. These include brands such as Flexi-Fit, Forge of Lures, Hostagevalley Lures, iCapio, JayBaits, La Gatzo Custom Lures, LISTbaits and Royber. JDM tackle is right on trend. JDM stands for “Japanese Domestic Market”, ie bait products and brands such as 10Ten Feet Under, DUO International, Gan Craft, Hayabusa, Noike and Ryugi, which are produced for the Japanese market and are exhibiting at ANGELWELT BERLIN.

The fly fishing area is growing every year and is extremely interactive. The highlight here is the fly fishing pool, where crash courses and workshops on the ultimate discipline of fishing take place. Around the pool there are well-known fly tiers such as A & M Fishing Tackle, Arctic Silver, Ingolf Augustin FLYRUS, Marlo Flyfishing and Raptorz Fishing, who can be watched over the shoulder while they are being tied, and exhibitors who provide information on tourist fly fishing destinations.

ANGELWELT BERLIN also has a lot to offer when it comes to professional and team anglers. Over 100 stars of the fishing scene will be there, including Torsten Ahrens, Daniel Andriani, Henrik Haak, Horst Hennings, Sebastian Hänel, Ken Iyobe, Frederic Jullian, Babs Kijewski, Erik Müller, Marc Ptacovsky, Jan Pusch, Dustin Schöne, Enrico Di Ventura , Toni Wehn, Christian Wieneke and many more.

FISHING BOAT BERLIN – From rubber dinghies to yachts

ANGELBOOT BERLIN is the largest segment of ANGELWELT BERLIN and Germany’s only trade fair marketplace where fishing boats are presented compactly in one hall. Bass boats, belly boats, ocean-going yachts, kayaks and inflatable boats are part of the standard program, but the “Techcorner” is particularly worth mentioning: the new area specifically for fishing technology, echo sounders, electric motors and navigation.

Framework program with show character

On the baittruck, Europe’s largest mobile aquarium, team anglers from popular manufacturer brand live demonstrate their baiting skills on site. Of course, you can fish without a hook. With its capacity of 23,000 liters and a length of 14 meters alone, the gigantic aquarium is the absolute highlight. The stock this year consists of the following fish species: eels, aland, perch, lead, chub, crayfish, pike, carp, roach, tench, catfish and pikeperch.

The ANGELWELT BERLIN is not only “Predators Paradise”, passionate carp anglers can expect relaxed discussions, live performances, lectures on carp breeding and feed, a Beauty Carps show pool and live cooking in the #BalticBivvyKitchen at the Fishing Maniacs Carp Camp.

In the ANGELFORUM, Germany’s best-known fishing professionals and speakers give each other the handle and share their specialist knowledge in lectures and workshops with the trade fair visitors.
