Released by the gendarmes, she is extremely shocked and was taken care of by the firefighters. His days are not in danger.
Not far from her, the gendarmes discovered the body of the head of the verification brigade of the departmental directorate of public finances. His body, lifeless, bears the marks of several stab wounds.
“I never had a problem with him”
The body of another man, the junk dealer, was found not far from his home. According to the first findings of the authorities, he would have committed suicide. He was known to the police for acts of common law.
The second-hand dealer, divorced and father of two children, “had arrived in the village four years ago”, told AFP the mayor of the village, Éric Bianchin.
“He had bought a farm in rue de Quéant, where he made sales at home. He emptied houses, garage sales and resold at home,” he added, his eyes wet behind his glasses.
“It’s a small village, everyone knows each other. I’ve never had a problem with him, he was helpful, he was a normal person. He was integrated into the village,” says the mayor.
