WhatsApp will let you edit already sent messages on Android soon

WhatsApp will finally allow users to edit their messages after sending. The information came through the WABetaInfo website, where it is said that the 2.22.20.12 beta version of WhatsApp is gaining the ability to edit messages. The image editing feature is still being developed by WhatsApp. According to WABetaInfo, the developers are now testing the notice warning about the update of the message that has been edited.

It has been known for some time that WhatsApp is working on the development of the message editing feature. However, the functionality is not yet complete. At the moment, the beta version of the app only presents a message edit warning and does not allow the user to use the option to edit messages yet.

Apparently, according to WAbetaInfo, there will be a time to allow the user to edit the sent message, however it is not yet known how long that would take. The following is a screenshot showing the progress made in the development of the message editing feature.
