The main draw of Wimbledon is finally made. And Rafael Nadal inherited a particularly strong draw on Friday, June 24. After a first round against Francisco Cerundolo (42nd in the world), the Spaniard, who won the first two Grand Slams of the year, could cross paths with Stefanos Tsitsipas (6th in the world) or Matteo Berrettini (finalist in 2021) . He won’t meet Novak Djokovic before a potential final.

Placed in the second half of the table, the Serb, who will face Soonwoo Kwon in the first round, benefits from a less dangerous draw. He could find rising star Carlos Alcaraz in the quarterfinals, provided that the latter manages to get rid of Jan-Lennard Struff, a big customer on grass, as soon as he enters the running. The first round will also offer some good opposition, notably between Stan Wawrinka (invitation) and Jannik Sinner (seeded n°10).

For the Habs, even if some were not spared either, the draw was not as formidable as that of the French. Adrian Mannarino and Benjamin Bonzi will face a qualifier and a lucky loser. In the shocks of entry, Enzo Couacaud, only resulting from the qualifications, will challenge the American giant John Isner (head of seed n°20), while Arthur Rinderknech will face Denis Shapovalov (N°13). And whatever happens, there will be a French player in the second round after the opposition between Benoît Paire and Quentin Halys.
