On the opening day of Quakecon 2021, Microsoft makes a welcome gift to Xbox Game Pass users by surprisingly inserting the Quake Remastered and the “classic” versions of the next two chapters of the ID Software shooter series in the digital catalog of the subscription service.
In addition to Quake Remastered, Quake II and Quake III Arena, starting today Thursday, August 19, users enrolled in the Game Pass will see their digital playroom expand with the entry of Recompile, Train Sin World 2 e Twelve Minutes.
The first of the three titles, accessible on PC, Xbox console and streaming on Xbox Cloud Gaming for subscribers to the Game Pass Ultimate, immerses fans of metroidvania adventures in a sci-fi dimension full of platform elements and puzzles to be solved by evolving the hacking abilities of one’s alter-ego, a sentient program eager to leave the cybernetic prison of the Mainframe.
Also on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and xCloud, from August 19th it is possible to download “train experience” simulator Train Sim World 2 and the interactive thriller Twelve Minutes, a project that boasts the participation in the dubbing of world famous Hollywood stars such as Willem Dafoe, Daisy Ridley e James McAvoy.
