You’ll soon be able to adopt Grogu with this new Star Wars Tamagotchi

Bandai Namco has announced the arrival of a new Star Wars Tamagotchi, that of the adorable Grogu, also known as Baby Yoda to fans. The Star Wars-themed Tamagotchi even has a kind of Grogu-shaped rubber shell.

The Cutest Creature in the Galaxy is entitled to yet another by-product. After Disney’s cuddly plush, then Hasbro’s life-size animated replica, here comes Baby Yoda’s Tamagotchi. He would also prefer to be called Grogu or even the Child, according to Jon Favreau. Since the first season of The Mandalorian aired on Disney+, Grogu won the hearts of fans around the world.

One year later Tamagotchi RD-D2, the star of The Mandalorian whose season 3 is expected for 2023 is also entitled to his own Tamagotchi. This was to be expected given Grogu’s popularity. Bandai Namco announced the good news on the networks. He also shared an image of the adorable Tamagotchi wearing the head of the Rubber Child.

Tamagotchi Grogu Pre-Orders Will Open Soon

Bandai Namco announced on Twitter that Tamagotchi Grogu pre-orders will open soon on Amazon. However, we do not have a more precise date. However, it seems likely that the Tamagotchi Grogu will come out in time to be under the tree this year. We’ll find out as soon as pre-orders go live, which shouldn’t take long.

With this Tamagotchi, you can play with Baby Yoda and especially feed him. All fans know of his insatiable appetite. He may be small and cute, but he loves to devour slimy, disgusting creatures in The Mandalorian. This Tamagotchi will undoubtedly be an ideal gift for the youngest, but also for the great Star Wars enthusiasts and nostalgic for the Japanese virtual pet which was established more than 25 years ago.

Finally, Grogu will of course be part of season 3 of The Mandalorian. Without spoiler the end of season 2, Baby Yoda experienced a major event in the last episode. Fans are therefore eager to discover the rest of his adventures. While waiting for the release of season 3, Baby Yoda did not miss the San Diego Comic-Con which took place in July. An incredibly realistic Grogu animatronic was up for adoption for a price of around $100,000.
