A Cuban teaches how to make an irresistible habanera picadillo

“After about 8 to 10 minutes over low heat it is the turn to add the hash, raise the heat and cook for 5 to 8 minutes while we break up the meat lumps and season with salt and pepper,” he continues.

“When it is partially golden, we add wine, tomato puree, cumin oregano and a bay leaf. Mix well, cover and cook for 5 to 10 minutes. We add raisins, olives and the potatoes”, she concludes.
