Apple would now also work on the development of OLED screens for the iMac

the people of Apple I would be working on various side projects. And although the most popular are related to your new device that would compete with Meta in reality they would also be working hard to renew their line of iMacs with new models that finally integrate screens OLED.

We are just a few weeks away from the guys from Cupertino finally presenting, in theory, their new Mixed Reality viewer, which would mix both Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality and would represent a significant leap in the variety of the company’s product catalogue.

But they would also be preparing an extra surprise: a new line of desktop computers, where yes, most likely we will see a significant jump in terms of processing power and memory, but an urgent element for the iMac family would also be improved from years ago: the monitor.

The good news is that the guys from Cupertino would be preparing everything to renew this range of computers with a necessary improvement that little by little has positioned itself as a standard element in the PC market.

Apple would finally give an OLED display to its future iMacs

A Signature Screen Industry Analyst Omdia reports that iMacs with an OLED screen are currently in development within Apple. Thus completing the path that they had already started with their range of iPhone smartphones.

Finally the boys from Cupertino are working on this urgent update for their monitors and the analyst behind this report assures that by 2027 the iMac OLED will reach stores.

There is too much time left for this, but the disturbing part is that in the same report the subject affirms that this same year 2023 the company would show a 32-inch Mini-LED monitor.

There is a high degree of doubt, especially because of that last statement, but the report still suggests that the people at Apple are already working on the development of new 27-, 32-, and 42-inch iMacs that would still be close to being officially presented.

It would take 4 years to see the new iMac with an OLED display, but before then we’d see this refreshed desktop with a next-generation M3 processor.

This new line of computers would not be seen until the end of this year, 2023 or perhaps until 2024. So everything indicates that Apple is renewing its product line. But they will take their time.
