Bad weather in South Florida leaves impressive waterspout

Amid the bad weather that reigned in South Florida this Sunday, images on social media attest to what appears to be an impressive waterspout in the area of Key Biscaynein Miami Dade County.

Several witnesses captured the perfectly defined meteorological phenomenon on camera.

Although some witnesses described it as a “tornado”, it appears to have been a waterspout, as it formed over the sea.

This was not the only meteorological surprise of the weekend, as a severe local storm that hit Miami on Sunday night brought with it a blackout in several parts of the city centre.

The bad weather was caused by a tropical wave passing through the south of the state, which brought rain and storms.

According to the forecast for Monday, favorable conditions for precipitation and storms will continue at least until Tuesday.
