Want to spice up your brunch but sick of mimosas and Bloody Mary’s? Eggo has teamed up with Sugarlands Distillery to create a unique drink that just might do the trick.
“Brunch in a Jar” is a waffle liqueur and cream syrup, according to the companies, and will soon be available in stores and for delivery in Illinois, Indiana and other states.
The drink is a version of Sugarlands’ “Appalachian Sippin’ Cream” flavored like Eggo waffles dipped in syrup, according to the company.
“With the delicious taste of toasted Eggo waffles drizzled with syrup, ‘Brunch in a Jar’ is the perfect addition to any brunch,” the distillery states on its website.
The drink is alcoholic and has a graduation of 40, according to the company website.
“Eggo Brunch in a Jar allows parents to relax when they’re not taking care of their children,” said Joe Beauprez, Kellogg’s Director of Marketing, in a statement. “So whether parents want to liven up a weekend brunch or want to savor some classic brunch flavors during their down time, this Eggo-inspired liqueur is the perfect treat.”
