Large-scale operation for the fire brigade and rescue service in Dortmund: smoke came from an apartment on Schüchtermannstraße. The cause is still unclear.
The emergency call reached the fire brigade and rescue service on Saturday evening at 9:17 p.m.: In Dortmund-Mitte Nord, on Schüchtermannstraße, an apartment was on fire. According to the Dortmund fire brigade, smoke came out of the ground floor apartment on site. A squad had penetrated the fire apartment under heavy respiratory protection to extinguish the fire. The rescue service looked after the residents, informs the fire brigade.
A total of 49 emergency services were deployed. After a short time, the fire was brought under control and post-extinguishing work was carried out. The cause is unclear for the time being, the police have started the investigation. (red)
