CAN U17: eliminated by Morocco, the Greens bid farewell to the World Cup

The Algerian national team U17 lost 3-0 against the Moroccan selection for the quarter-finals of the African Cup of Nations.

The Moroccans had opened the scoring in the 28th minute thanks to their number 9, Zakaria Ouazane. The latter made the break in the second half and got a double in the 57th minute.

Adam Shakir came to increase the lead of the Atlas Lions with a third goal 4 minutes from the end of the match.

The Greens are therefore eliminated from the competition and see their hopes of qualifying for the next U17 World Cup evaporate.

They will have shown timid performances in general during the competition.

Despite the good start against Somalia, the Greens had completely let go against the lion cubs of Senegal, losing 3-0. The last game of the group stage, against Congo, ended with a draw.
