Capriles warns that Chavismo is escalating its campaign of lies before the elections

Chavista regime ratifies disqualification of Henrique Capriles for 15 years

MIAMI.- The opponent Henrique Capriles, leader of the Primero Justicia party, called on the opposition to confront Nicolás’ abuse of power Maduro and Chavismo with more organization and participation for the elections presidential elections on July 28.

“Maduro and his leadership are going to escalate their campaigns of lies, it seems that it is the only resource they have left. While they lie, we report more and with the truth,” said Capriles during an electoral campaign tour of the state of Miranda on Tuesday, July 9.

The leader referred to the accusations from Chavismo about alleged destabilizing plans by “far-right” activists against the upcoming elections. He pointed out that “it is more than obvious” that the members of the democratic opposition are not conspirators, “nor do we have hidden agendas.”

In this sense, he said: “We are appealing to the most important thing that every Venezuelan can have, which is their expression, their vote, which this government (regime) has tried to trample on, what has it not done with the issue of elections, because they have become accustomed to attacking without quarter, taking advantage of the power, the resources, the media. We have to come out to face that, in this campaign the communicators are each one of us with the telephone. It is a lie that our candidate, Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia“He is sick and everything they have wanted to say is a lie.”
