MIAMI.- Nowadays there are countless treatments aesthetic to “correct” or shape any detail in the physical appearance, whether in the face or the body. From different types of easy, some less invasive, others with a more effective effect. lifting and rejuvenating, even Botox to soften expression lines or wrinkles. fillers with hyaluronic acid to fill areas such as the area under the eyes to dissipate dark circles or the cheekbones to add facial volume and, therefore, reverse the effects of aging.

At Vizage Aesthetic Center, located in Doral, they offer different treatments beauty. Led by Venezuelan Visnú Ferreira, the medspa has a relaxing and family-friendly atmosphere. Ferreira takes care of the faces of her patients, while her mother, Eddy Gómez, shapes silhouettes with body treatments; her daughter, Fabiola Lucena, specializes in laser; and her husband, Anotonio Innamorato, is in charge of hair micropigmentation.

Ferreira’s hands draw eyebrows using the technique of microbladingwhile Lucena’s eyebrows are blurred with laser if the goal is to achieve natural eyebrows. The daughter of the founder of the medspa also focuses on weight loss treatments.

Both mother and daughter entered the world of beauty at the same age. Ferreira has more than two decades of experience as a dermatocosmiatrist and Ferreira, 22, is making her way in the field of aesthetics, focusing not only on lasers but also on weight loss, with the aim of expanding the services of the medspa, which will celebrate its 23rd anniversary in August.

“We started about two years ago with the topic of weight loss, but the ideal thing is that we continue to grow to work on more things, such as hormone replacement, hair loss or imbalance in those who suffer strong effects of menopause. That endocrine area, of hormones, is what interests me the most,” said Fabiola Lucena.

“Ever since I saw my mom, I knew I wanted to be in the beauty industry. And it has always been a goal to work with her and then achieve my own goals. I started working with her as a receptionist when I was 18,” Lucena added.

Ferreira, for her part, is motivated by the self-esteem that each transformation, however subtle, offers her patients.

“What I like most is that people recover their self-esteem, because there are people who live very sadly because they don’t like what they see in the mirror. And with minimal details there can be a great improvement. You have to go little by little, with subtle changes, but on the face every minimal change makes a big difference. The premise is to go from less to more,” said Ferreira.

“I started when I was 18. When I got married, my father gave me a small beauty center that he had in Capitolio, in Caracas. And since I got married and was pregnant, he gave me the business so I could start working, but I had been working with them for years. My father went to beauty conventions and I helped him since I was 12, but when he gave me the center, that’s when I woke up and took it seriously,” recalled the expert.

At Vizage, beauty is a family affair, a vocation for aesthetics passed down through three generations. Ferreira has also learned from her mother, Eddy Gómez, who has vast experience in this field.

Gómez is in charge of shaping silhouettes with the body sculptinga treatment that, as its name indicates, sculpts the body with the help of technologies such as VelaShape, which applies radiofrequency to reshape and reduce abdominal fat.

In addition, cavitation emits waves that break up accumulated fat adipocytes and dissolve them to be expelled through the lymph nodes. The procedure then ends with lymphatic drainage, which is performed with a manual or machine massage. Another option for dissolving fat is carboxytherapy, which stimulates the tissues by promoting cellular oxygenation and is therefore effective in combating cellulite.

For Gomez, however, there is no such thing as an “ideal body,” although one can achieve an individual goal with patience and by re-educating the mind regarding physical activity and healthy eating.

“The ideal body does not exist. Those beauty queen bodies are generally made for contests. Those Barbie measurements have been instilled to follow a pattern. We go little by little, looking for the way to reach adequate measurements, but with harmony. We reach our goals with re-education, because we have to be aware that everything is in accordance with the discipline we have in what we eat, because we cannot be on a diet all the time, we must not go to extremes, everything has a limit. A harmonious anatomy is so beautiful,” said Gómez.

Another treatment that is performed is hair plasma, an innovative technique that causes a biostimulating effect by providing nutrients, which strengthens and improves the quality of hair that has weakened due to excessive hair loss.
