Charges are filed for allegedly killing his neighbor's dog in Adjuntas

Judge Melissa Santiago of the Utuado Court found cause for the arrest of 41-year-old Reinaldo Santiago González, for allegedly killing his neighbor’s dog last Saturday, in the Casitas sector, Tanamá neighborhood, in Adjuntas.

According to the investigation, Santiago González fired a shot with a firearm, and immediately afterwards, he shot the dog with a rifle, causing his death. The events occurred in the presence of a minor.

The subject was arrested and seized a black pneumatic rifle, 194 22 caliber ammunition, a 9mm caliber pistol, 24 9mm caliber ammunition, two chargers and possessed a weapons license.

A global bail of $48,000 was indicated, which he provided, remaining free until the preliminary hearing.

He would have suffered a health mishap.
