Crane catches fire in line 12 construction zone

Mexico City.- At around 6:45 p.m., residents of the Iztapalapa Mayor’s Office reported a fire in the construction area of ​​Metro Line 12, on Avenida Tláhuac, at the height of Aldama street, in the San Lorenzo Tezonco neighborhood.

According to the Mexico City Fire Department, the fire was due to the complete burning of a hydraulic lifting platform, in addition to which no one was injured.

The fire was put out after 24 minutes.

Users on social networks uploaded images of the fire and denounced that the smoke affected pedestrians and people who were circulating in the area.

The circulation on Avenida Tláhuac, in both directions, where the emerging transport service advances, was suspended and later reestablished.
