Cristina surprised with a video: "Convictions don’t have time to be fulfilled"

Although she makes different publications on her social networks, and when she receives someone in the National Senate, she publishes a photo to depict those meetings, this time Cristina Fernández took advantage and published a video.

The vice president received this Monday the president of Honduras, Xiomara Castro, who is in Argentina to participate in the VII Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac).

Through a video that she shared on her social networks, the Vice President reviewed recent history: “When they overthrew Manuel Zelaya in 2009, who is the husband of Xiomara Castro, they not only overthrew him but also changed the flag, and they put a bluer, darker one”.

“Xiomara’s first act when she took office as president was obviously to restore the original Honduran flag,” the vice president explained.

In the same video, the president of the Senate showed a decoration that she received from the Honduran president, in recognition of the “support for democracy and the resistance of the Honduran people against the 2009 coup d’état, which overthrew the democratic government of the president Jose Manuel Zelaya Rosales”.

In the final part of the recording, part of the meeting between the leaders can be seen, in a visit that included an exchange of gifts and even the dedication and signing of the book Sincerely.

“Convictions do not have time to be fulfilled,” Cristina said in a section of her publication.
