Diego Orellana is one of the many youth players who have to leave Colo Colo on loan to seek new opportunities outside the club. He already did it in the first instance with Deportes Antofagasta and today he does it with a new club.

The Cacique striker, who trained with the youth teams on his return to Monumental after his loan at the Pumas, was made official as a new reinforcement for Coquimbo Unido for the 2023 season.

This was announced on their social networks and with a statement in the Pirate set. “This beginning of the week, the arrival at BARBÓN of the youth midfielder, Diego Ignacio Orellana Riffo, who joins the PIRATA version 2023 ship in the First Division, was confirmed,” he said.

They also emphasized their beginnings. “The talented midfielder was born on January 9, 2002 in Santiago. His beginnings go back to the lower divisions of Colo Colo, a club with which he managed to win the Under 19 Opening Championship in 2020.

It is worth mentioning that Diego Orellana arrived on loan to Coquimbo Unido, so he still belongs to Colo Colo and will have to appear at the Monumental stadium when his relationship ends.
