An alleged double homicide worked in a toy store that belongs to the company “Toys R Us.”
This is 41-year-old Christopher González, who would have pleaded guilty to the murder of a 25-year-old woman, after assuming responsibility for the murder of a Hispanic teenager in the Bronx, in New York City.
Both cases of rape and homicide by strangulation lingered for years while González lived on the lam in Florida, where he married and worked at a toy store after fleeing New York.
Gonzalez’s DNA was found at both crime scenes. Police said that she raped both women.
Gonzalez did not plead guilty to charges of rape as part of her deal, only to murder. He was sentenced to between 20 years and life in prison in both cases, and his sentences will run concurrently.
